The adhesive products on offer from Technibond are generally made up of three main components :

Adhesive – coated onto a Carrier – and protected by a release Liner

Each of these base components has science and complexity of its own, and should not only be viewed in isolation, but how they respond to the other two elements in the product mix.

For example, a low coat-weight Adhesive may only be adequate if applied to a flexible tissue Carrier to ensure complete integral contact on grained surface. The tissue Carrier will fold and crease into position, providing full surface contact and ultimate bond. The use of a film Carrier would only allow partial contact where it rested on the high points of the uneven grained surface.
